Another month, another 'Made in China' versus 'Made in Canada' flap regarding another of our national symbols being manufactured outside of the country.
Last month, I reported on a "flag flap" that was brewing in the Ontario Legislature over the Liberal government in the Province of Ontario buying Provincial Flags from a Chinese manufacturer instead of flags being made locally right here in Toronto.Well, now the Federal Tories are facing their own "flag pin" flap. It is being reported in the Globe & Mail that the federal government has spent over $220,000 on Canadian flag pins that are made in China.
