Over 150,000 people are expected to visit Seymour Johnson Air Force base in Goldsboro this weekend for the "Wings over Wayne" airshow.

Seymour Johnson is home to the F-15 Strike Eagle fighter jet. And at 50 million dollars a pop -- these jets are helping keep America safe.

The F-15 will take center stage this weekend along with several other planes like the C-130 Fat Albert. Christine Kennedy got to go on along with about 30 other airmen and women Friday aboard the plane. The pilots are none other than the Blue Angels.

Christine says the flight was quite an interesting experience. "We hit positive and negative gravity and the feeling was like nothing I've ever experienced. It was awesome!"

The "Wings over Wayne" airshow will go on all weekend at Seymour Johnson from 9am to 5pm. All events are free. Click on the related link below for all the information.
