Curator John Rupp told The News Tribune of Tacoma on Thursdaythat the 16-year-old male beluga is in good health and will have anopportunity to breed. The move will leave the Tacoma aquarium without a beluga.Beethoven's companion Qannik (kah-NIK') died in March of a bloodinfection. The zoo plans to use the beluga pool for harbor seals.
